 From
the first years of the twenthieth century Alida Ferrini, when she
was only a girl, she learnt to embroider precious and tasteful things.
As time went by, her handworks started being demanded by rich families
to embellish their houses and enrich their splendid bottom drawers.
In a short time a little team of capable originated.
Then they specialized, among other things, in the working of the
famous Florentine lace, called “Buratto”, hand-weaved
with a flax thread and tambour embroidered.
 Then
the daughter Giuseppina and the grand-daughter Eleonora joined Alida
with a point of sale in Florence, in Via Calimala, where also today
you can find beautiful hand-embroidered things, included old and
very precious pieces.
In the Ferrini shop you can choose among a very
wide assortment of underwear and linen, preparation for boats, besides
new-born and children dresses, also for ceremony, everything on
request and custom-made.
